The New Year is a traditional festival in China. We will wear new clothes and new hats these days and happily go to our relatives and friends to pay New Year greetings.I believe you will also be curious about how our foreign classroom had this special festival.This time, we also invited three foreign teachers to share their New Year with us.

新年是我们中国的传统节日，我们会在这些天穿新衣戴新帽，高高兴兴地去亲戚朋友家拜年。相信大家也会很好奇我们的外籍教师，是怎么过这个特殊的节日的。这次我们也邀请到了三位外籍老师与我们分享他们的新年。

Calum's New Year 外教Calum的新年

Cornelor :Now we're going to write a tweet about how foreign teachers celebrate the Chinese New Year in China.Could you spare some time to receive my interview ?

现在我们要写一篇关于我们的外教们在中国如何庆祝春节的推文。你能抽出时间接受我的采访吗？

Calum :Sure.

当然可以。

Cornelor :Well，it is so easy.  As a foreign teacher, how do you spend the Spring Festival?

作为外教，你们是怎么过春节的呢？

Calum : Just that I spend my Spring Festival like any one else, with my friends and family, eating and relaxing before the new semester.

我和其他人一样，在我朋友和家人一起度过春节，在新学期之前吃东西和放松。

Promise's New Year 外教Promise的新年

Katherine :Could you share us with your winter vacation life?

能跟我们分享一下你们的寒假生活吗？

Promise ：I would be more than happy to share some of my vacation stories.

我很乐意跟大家分享我的一些假期故事。

Katherine :It would be better if you would like to share us with your own photos.

如果你愿意和我们分享你自己的照片就更好了。

Promise ：Unfortunately, I do not take very many pictures so I don't have any pictures from my spring festival adventures.

不巧的是，我没有拍很多照片所以我没有任何春节的照片。

As a foreign teacher in China, its Wonderful to see new Customs like the exchanging of " ucky money ", and the beautiful decorations that people place on and around their doors during thls time. By the way. I did not clean my house after the 1st of February, I don't want to sweep away the good luck that is coming my way this year!

作为一名在中国的外教，很高兴看到新的习俗，像交换压岁钱，和美丽的装饰，人们在他们的门上和周围在这段时间。顺便说一下，我在2月1日之后没有打扫我的房子，我不想扫走所有的好运，这将是我今年的好运！

Aurora :We are very curious about how our foreign teachers celebrate the New Year, can you share how you celebrate the new year?

我们很好奇外教们是怎么庆祝新年的，能分享一下你们是怎么过新年的吗？

Stacey ：Usually, I am able to travel home at this time and be with my family in South Africa. It has not been possible for me to see my family since August 2019.So I have spent another Spring Festival in China This year, it is year of the Tiger.I was very happy to receive some kind gifts of red socks from my Chinese friends and some food and coffee from our school leaders.I decided to try and make some dumplings by myself on New Year's Eve. That was very interesting

通常，在这个时候，我能够回家，与南非的家人团聚。自 2019 年 8 月以来,我一直无法见到家人。我在中国又过了一个春节今年是虎年。我很高兴收到了来自中国朋友的礼物，还有来自学校领导的食物和咖啡。我决定在除夕晚上自己包饺子,那很有趣。

Aurora :Thank you for sharing your New Year's Eve with me.I'm glad to hear that. Hope you and your family can be together in the New Year this year.
